Founded in 1966 by Shri Anadi Charan Hait, Anadi Hardware started as a small grocery business in Haldia. Recognizing the region’s growing need for raw materials, Shri Hait established Haldia’s first hardware shop in CPT Market during the construction of the Haldia Dock Complex.

On March 19, 1975, Anadi Hardware was officially registered under the West Bengal Sales Tax Department, marking a major milestone. Shri Hait’s vision and dedication built a strong foundation that continues to inspire.

After his passing in 2012, the business expanded, opening a new counter on HPL Link Road, Manjusree, in 2015.

In 2025, Anadi Hardware proudly celebrates 50 years of its CPT Market counter (Golden Jubilee) and 10 years of its HPL Link Road counter (Aluminium Jubilee).
